The water level in the lanes of Sharma Colony has reached 1 to 3 feet deep. After five hours of rain on Friday, the water accumulation increased significantly. Dirty sewage water has mixed with rainwater and entered many houses. People have to wade through sludge and filth just to step out of their homes. Some residents said that water has reached under their beds, spoiling their belongings.

Why are children unable to go to school?

Due to severe waterlogging, daily routines have been badly hit. A large number of children could not go to school on Friday because the streets were filled with knee-deep water.
