People in Uttar Pradesh have received great news regarding international travel options. Air India Express is set to start flight services on the Delhi-Kushinagar-Varanasi-Bangkok route very soon. According to official updates, the service from Kushinagar is expected to begin on February 15, 2026. This move will connect the region directly to international destinations and make travel easier for tourists and pilgrims.
What is the flight route and schedule?
The airline will operate a multi-leg flight connecting four major cities to boost connectivity. While the direct service from Varanasi to Bangkok has already started on February 1, the Kushinagar link will be active from the middle of the month. The airport has also been upgraded with the new Instrument Landing System (ILS). This technical update allows planes to land safely at Kushinagar even during the night or in foggy weather conditions.

Passengers can book their tickets through the official website of Air India Express or other travel apps. The pricing has been kept competitive to encourage more travelers under the government’s UDAN scheme.
