Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar passed away today in a fatal plane crash. The small business jet carrying him and his staff crashed near the runway at Baramati Airport. The crash resulted in the death of everyone on board.

The aircraft was identified as a Learjet 45, registered as VT-SSK. It took off from Mumbai around 8:00 AM and met with the accident at approximately 8:45 AM. Emergency teams rushed to the spot, but officials confirmed that Ajit Pawar and 5 others could not be saved.
