The victim and the accused, identified as Ashish Panwar, were attending a party at Shri Radha Sky Garden Society. The gathering included the victim’s brother and a few other friends. Ashish is currently posted at the Kalindi Kunj police station. Reports indicate that the couple had been in a relationship for about six to seven years and had been living together for the last few months.

During the party, Ashish received a WhatsApp video call from his wife. This call reportedly triggered a heated argument between him and the victim. Disturbed by the dispute, the woman went into another room where Ashish had placed his official service weapon. She locked the door from inside and shot herself. The security guards and friends rushed her to a private hospital, but she could not survive.

Based on the statement and complaint given by the victim’s brother, the police have arrested Head Constable Ashish Panwar.
