On Saturday night, February 7, 2026, two men travelling in a white Fortuner stopped another car and assaulted the driver. The entire episode was recorded by a passerby and shared on social media, prompting the local police to take notice of the law and order situation.

What was seen in the viral video?

The video circulating online clearly shows the sequence of events on the busy road. A white Fortuner car stopped in the middle of the road, blocking a private car coming from behind. Two young men stepped out of the SUV and forced the other driver to come out of his vehicle.

The footage shows the accused dragging the man and throwing him onto the road. They were seen beating him while he lay on the ground. During this time, several other vehicles passed by the spot, but the video shows that no one stopped to intervene or help the victim during the assault.

Police investigation and current status
