Renault India has officially unveiled the third generation Duster SUV on Republic Day, January 26, 2026. The new Duster comes with advanced features, hybrid engine options and competitive pricing starting around 10 lakh rupees.

What is the expected price of new Renault Duster?

The 2026 Renault Duster is expected to be priced between 10 lakh to 20 lakh rupees ex-showroom. Base petrol variants will cost around 10-12 lakh rupees while mid-range trims are expected between 12-16 lakh rupees. Top-end and hybrid variants could reach 16-20 lakh rupees. Pre-bookings are open for 21,000 rupees with priority delivery benefits.

What are the key features of new Duster?

The new Duster features dual digital screens including 10.1-inch touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. It comes with panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS making it the first Renault car in India with advanced driver assistance systems. The SUV includes six airbags as standard, electronic stability control and disc brakes on all four wheels.

Which engines will be available in Duster?

Renault will offer three engine options – Turbo TCe 160 engine producing 163 PS and 280 Nm, 1.8L GDI strong hybrid engine with 1.4 kW battery, and Turbo TCe 100 engine. Additional options include 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine with 156 hp and 254 Nm, plus 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. Diesel engine is not expected at launch.

When will deliveries start for new Duster?

Prices will be announced in mid-March 2026. Deliveries for turbo-petrol variants will commence from mid-March 2026 while hybrid variants deliveries are expected around Diwali 2026. The 4×4 versions will offer Terrain Control with five drive modes including Auto, Snow, Mud/Sand, Off-road and Eco modes.

What warranty does Renault offer on new Duster?

Renault India announced 7-year warranty for the new Duster as confirmed by Francisco Hidalgo, VP Sales and Marketing, Renault India. The SUV is built on Renault-Nissan CMF-B platform and will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Tata Sierra and other mid-size SUVs in Indian market.
