Tata Motors is set to aggressively expand its portfolio in 2026 with multiple new launches targeting the Indian market. After the recent introduction of the Punch facelift, the company is preparing to bring the iconic Sierra back as an EV and launch the electric version of the Safari to compete with rivals like Maruti Suzuki and Mahindra.
When is the Tata Sierra EV launching?
One of the most awaited launches is the Tata Sierra EV. The company plans to introduce this SUV between January and March 2026. It is expected to be priced between ₹15 lakh and ₹25 lakh. The vehicle will be built on the Acti.ev+ platform and will offer both Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and All Wheel Drive (AWD) options.
Details about the new Tata Punch facelift
Tata has already launched the facelift version of the Tata Punch in the first quarter of 2026. The price for this model starts at ₹5.59 lakh and goes up to ₹10.54 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in both petrol and CNG variants and has secured a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, making it a strong competitor against the Maruti Brezza.
Upcoming Safari EV and Avinya details
Following the Sierra, Tata Motors plans to launch the Safari EV around May 2026 with an expected price range of ₹26-32 lakh. Later in the year, between June and December, the premium EV ‘Avinya’ is expected to debut with a range of over 500 km.
