The woman, identified as Rupa, allegedly bit Head Constable Ankur on his shoulder and tore his uniform during a scuffle. The police acted immediately and have arrested the accused woman following the assault.

How did the incident unfold on Pushta Road?
The police control room received a call regarding a dispute between two groups on Pushta Road around 8:15 PM on February 1. Head Constable Ankur and Constable Javed arrived at the scene to control the situation. While the officers were trying to pacify the crowd, the woman started using abusive language against them. The situation escalated when she physically attacked Head Constable Ankur. She bit him on his right shoulder and tore his uniform. Constable Javed also suffered minor injuries while trying to control the woman.
What legal action has been taken?
DCP East Delhi Abhishek Dhania stated that a case has been registered at Geeta Colony Police Station. The accused woman was arrested on Monday. The injured officers were taken to Dr. Hedgewar Hospital for a medical examination, which confirmed the bite injury. Charges have been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for assaulting a public servant and obstructing official duty. The police are currently investigating the matter further to identify others involved in the disturbance.
